Withholding Accounts
Withholding accounts will no longer be mailed withholding booklets. We are providing online filing for 2014 employer withholding of Whitehall income tax.

The tax tool will provide:
  • General information
  • Instructions for completing the forms
  • Forms for quarterly, monthly, and semi-monthly remittance of withholding tax due
  • Your 2013 Reconciliation of Returns

Electronic Filing for Whitehall Residents (Webtool)
The City of Whitehall is excited to offer electronic filing. We want residents to take advantage of our electronic filing program. It’s free, it’s fast, and it’s environmentally friendly!

E-File Requirements
Full year Whitehall residents may e-file their local income tax returns if they meet the following conditions:
  • They had W-2 only income and lived and worked within Whitehall corporate limits
  • If they had W-2 only income and worked outside of the City, they may file electronic, but they must send in a copy of their W-2(s)
  • 2013 Individual Electronic filing will not be available until February 3, 2014.

Note: Residents and individuals with Schedule C, E, F, Form 2106, or K-1’s may not electronically file. They may use the webtool to prepare their return. They must then print and mail their return to the City of Whitehall postmarked by April 15, 2014.

Whitehall residents and individuals who are required to file local income tax returns, but do not meet the above criteria may use our fill-in return option or our online tax preparation tool. All active accounts were mailed a letter with your account number and website information in late January. All they need to do is log onto this website and chose the electronic filing option found above, or navigate to the fill-in form, type in the necessary information, print, and mail it along with the appropriate attachments to the address listed below:
