Summer Camps

6/3 - 6/7: Football & Cheerleading w/ HS Coaches

6/10 - 6/13: Baseball & Softball w/ HS Coaches

6/17 - 6/20: Track & Volleyball w/ HS Coaches

6/24 - 6/28: Soccer w/ HS Coaches

7/8 - 7/11: Gym Skills

Gym Skills camp will be 4 days consisting of 2.5 hour programs, introducing children ages 8-14 to the world of tumbling and gymnastics. Have fun with handstands, cartwheels, backbends, handsprings and more in a non-competitive environment. Participants will start with learning warmups and progress through different skill levels as well as working together creating pyramids and other balancing acts. Learning outcomes of this class will be keeping our bodies safe through fitness, cooperation and flexibility.

7/15 - 7/18: Little Medical School

Little Medical School Camp will be 4 days consisting of 2.5 hour programs, introducing children ages 8-14 to the medical world. This program will be a hands-on experience exploring different jobs in healthcare and learning about who cares for you every day. Participants will meet various healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors, dentists and more, while learning to use the basic instruments used to help keep us healthy. Learning outcomes of this class will be how your body work, how to stay healthy, as well as what to expect in a healthcare environment and career.

 7/22 - 7/25: COSI

COSI Camp will be 4 days consisting of 2.5 hour programs, introducing children ages 8-14 to becoming an inventor, an astronomer, a biologist, an engineer and more all in one week! Each day features hands on science activities and experiments lead by a high energy educators from the #1 science center in the country. Learning outcomes of this class will be designed to teach participants different aspects of team building, and exploring the different worlds of the science industry.

7/29 - 8/1: The Works Robotics

The Works robotics camp will be 4 days consisting of 2.5 hour programs, introducing children ages 8-14 to the world of robotics. The step by step progressive program will be team project oriented with daily lessons and goals. Including but not limited to build a robot, program a robot, learn about sensors and program with sensors. Ending the series with a Teamwork Challenge where each group’s robot will perform various tasks. Learning outcomes of this class will be communication, cooperation, problem solving and leadership.
